Pupils in Senior 2 have enjoyed starting a new Enterprise project this week, with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance as their chosen charity. As well as raising money for this worthy cause, this will give us the chance to develop all our Functional Skills. Already we have used our ICT and Reading skills to research the charity on our laptops - pupils were amazed to discover it needs £12,000 a day to keep running yet receives no government funding. We also brushed up our Numeracy skills: identifying, sorting, and adding up coins and notes raised on our Hot Chocolate Day earlier in the year.
