East Riding of Yorkshire Council will be providing financial support to East Riding families entitled to free school meals to cover the costs of food over the October half-term holiday.

It will provide emergency funding of more than £100,000 to support the 7,088 children in the East Riding who are entitled to free school meals as a result of financial hardship.

Families will receive £15 for each eligible child for the October half-term.

Please note:You will not be eligible for a payment if your child's school have already provided a Free School Meals voucher or made other free school meal arrangements with you for the October half-term.
