News from the Foxes' Den....
We are all pleased to be back after our break in class Fox and have had a very busy start this half term.
In maths we are starting to focus on shape, we have painted poppies for Remembrance Day, as well as doing some beautiful bonfire pictures, but our favourite activity this week, was dying rice in preparation for Diwali next week.
We measured out rice, then choose either blue, red or green food dye. With the rice we also mixed in vinegar, most of us didn’t like the smell, but it reminded some of our Foxes of fish and chips mmmm!
After mixing everything in with the rice we squished and squashed it all together. We love getting messy in class Fox, the beautiful colours are just a bonus!
We hope to make some fantastic pictures with the rice next week.
