Dear parents/ carers,
Firstly, I would like to thank you for your understanding this morning. It is always a difficult decision to close the school because of the weather.
We must consider many factors and need to know what the weather conditions are like across a vast catchment area. Staff too travel in from quite a distance and the current restrictions would have made staff movement to cover classes more complicated. Hopefully, you have been able to enjoy some fun in the snow with your children.
Based on the current weather forecast, you will be pleased to know that school will be open tomorrow. Transport has been contacted and will be picking up as normal.
