The Owls celebrated  ‘World Book Day’ last week by looking at the story ‘Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.’ They each wrote about their favourite food and how they wished that it would fall from the sky during a ‘food storm.’ Then, during our art session, they worked hard to draw and paint a picture of their favourite food ready for the display. Everyone was given the challenge of filling a large piece of paper with their drawing as well as experimenting with mixing paint together to achieve their chosen colour. There were lots of helpful suggestions being made to support each other with the paint mixing as well as which type of brush would be best for painting certain sized areas. Great teamwork Owls!
