This week the children in Rabbit class have been working really hard. Some children enjoyed a really long walk on Tuesday around the local area, where they saw lots of different tractors, lorries and cars. Other children participated in a baking session in which they made vehicle shortbread biscuits (Yum!). Finally, the literacy group have been really enjoying reading The Highway Rat and acting out parts of the story - 'toasting' sausages and marshmallows, dressing up as the Highway Rat and make horse hoof sounds using coconuts.
On top of all this, we have been working really hard in our 1:1 sessions, learning how to ask for lots of different things, label items and follow instructions. Phew!
