Students of Kings Mill School have been invited by Driffield in Bloom to attend a Children's Remembrance Service on Sunday 7th November 2021 at Bridlington Road Cemetary from 10:15am 

"Driffield in Bloom is once again holding a children's remembrance service to honour and remember the Fallen from the First World War to the present day. 

After a short service, all children will be given a Poppy Cross to place on the graves of British and Commonwealth service personnel  which will be already marked with a National Flag. 

Driffield cemetary has over one hundred graves of fallen servicemen. 

We feel it is important to educate future generations about the sacrifices that were made by so many to keep our country safe
