I am sorry to have to share some very sad news. Danielle, a much loved pupil has died quite unexpectedly. She died in the early hours of Friday morning peacefully and in the presence of her family. Staff were told on Friday and the family have given me permission to share with the wider community. Danielle was a student at the sixth form but joined the school as a three year old during which time she has touched the hearts of many staff and pupils. As yet pupils have not been told but we aim to do so in a way that is appropriate, sensitive and with emotional support. Teachers will notify parents when these discussions are planned.

Danielle's funeral will take place at Priory Church, Bridlington on Friday 7^th July at 2:30pm. The family are keen to give her a great 'send off' with as many people there as possible.
