World Book day is officially on Thursday 7th March however, we will be celebrating stories, poems and the joy of reading across the whole of next week.

Classes are recognising different authors and have some fun activities planned, these include;

      * Decorating the classroom door as a book cover

      * World book day treasure hunt

      * 'Be in a book' green screen

      * Room on the Broom - Short play

      * craft and sensory sessions

      * Rhythm based music sessions

      * Dress up fun

Friday praise assemble will focus on a pupil from each class that has been particularly engaged in the weeks activities.

Keep an eye on DoJo for any particular requirements for your child's class. Let your class teacher know if you have done anything at home too.

Each pupil will get a £1 book voucher that they can redeem at school (we will have a collection of books chosen from WHSmith) or take home to redeem at any participating  book shops.
