Sixth Form Charity Sleepover5 July 2019 (by charlottedowson) |
The Sixth Form students had a busy evening on Friday raising awareness of homelessness. six students took part in a sleepover on the school car park and raised over £100 for Centrepoint who help house young and vulnerable homeless people. Earlier in the evening the students visited Emmaus a homeless shelter in Hull, where they had tea with some other the service providers and found out more about the current homeless problems in the East Riding Community. The students all found the experience fun and though provoking and were very proud of their accomplishment.
