On Thursday Senior 2 had a fantastic Forest Schools Day. We went to Elmswell Farm and learned how to build shelters, light a fire, and whittle sticks. We also foraged for berries and used them to tie dye pieces of cloth. In the afternoon we toasted marshmallows round the fire. Everyone had such a great day, helping each other and working as a team. Here's what the pupils thought:
"It was fun!"
"I liked the fresh air"
"My favourite part was being outside in the forest and fields"
"I liked hugging the trees!"
We can't wait to go back again in the Spring term.
